Not only was is Emily & Michael's big day, it was also a special day for Avery. As I woke her up from a brief nap her eyes were huge and she said, "It's time Mommy!" Indeed it was! We got to the church around 2:30. By three we were dressed and had almost managed to get the flower crown positioned on Avery's head. The handmade, fresh flower headband was beautiful, but difficult for a newly 2 to manage. (Avery said she looked like Ariel on her wedding day.)
The processional began and I had my fingers crossed the headband would stay in place. It did. Unfortunately her shoe did not! Good thing Grandpa came to the rescue. The rest of the wedding was a blur. Apparently I am way too high strung to manage the flower girl in the front row of a wedding. Anyway, I don't know much of what happened during the ceremony, but I do remember Emily was beautiful, Michael looked in love and our family just grew. Congratulations you too!
All these guest appearances at weddings sure does make me want to photograph them too...
